The period of time between a manager's sacking and another's appointment is always a nervy and uncomfortable one, and the situation QPR find themselves in currently is no different having given Steve McClaren the boot on Monday.

Naturally, different media outlets and papers all have their own ideas as to who the club want to appoint, but one name that keeps cropping up is Tim Sherwood - the former Aston Villa and Tottenham manager, who has been out of work since 2015.
