The period of time between a manager’s sacking and another’s appointment is always a nervy and uncomfortable one, and the situation QPR find themselves in currently is no different having given Steve McClaren the boot on Monday.
The former England boss had lost all control at Loftus Road as the Hoops spiralled towards the relegation zone, with Tony Fernandes and Les Ferdinand finally running out of patience this week.
Naturally, different media outlets and papers all have their own ideas as to who the club want to appoint, but one name that keeps cropping up is Tim Sherwood – the former Aston Villa and Tottenham manager, who has been out of work since 2015.
The QPR keeper was giving it large to Bolton fans at the weekend. Find out who had the last laugh in the video below…
The R’s fans are less than pleased with that, it would seem, as they discussed the 50-year-old’s reported candidacy on Twitter. One said it would be met with ‘absolute meltdown’, while another threatened not to buy a season ticket for 2019/20 – you can check out the best of the reaction below…
Fans will go into absolute meltdown if it does, surely the owners know that
