Queens Park Rangers fans on Twitter were ecstatic and full of praise for manager Steve McClaren after the R's secured their first away win of the season with a 2-1 win over Bolton. The West London side have struggled this season, especially away from Loftus Road, with their heaviest defeat coming in the form of a 7-1 thumping by West Brom at the Hawthorns.Against Bolton on Saturday though McClaren's side looked far more confident and assured and both goals came with some impressive build up play. Attacking midfielder Luke Freeman opened the scoring for the R's after 26 minutes following a swift counter attacking move that saw Freeman driving at the heart of the Bolton defence and then shifting the ball wide to loanee Nahki Wells. Wells then drilled the ball low into the box and it was Freeman there to turn it home.[brid autoplay="true" video="291236" player="12034" title="Jose Mourinho Has Turned Into Arsene Wenger"]Eberechi Eze was deployed on the right of a midfield four by McClaren, and it was he who doubled their lead 10 minutes in to the second half after some neat interplay on the left-hand side allowed Freeman to cross, and Eze was there to control and fire past Ben Alnwick in the Bolton net.Despite Bolton sub Josh Magennis pulling a goal back, QPR saw the game out and their fans were buzzing with the result and McClaren's tactics on Twitter.
