Queens Park Rangers announced on Tuesday that goalkeeper Joe Lumley had signed a new three-year contract with the Championship outfit.
Lumley has been with QPR since the age of 16, and has now signed a contract with the R’s until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
Lumpey kept nine clean sheets in 18 appearances on loan at Blackpool last season before being recalled to Loftus Road in April.
The 23-year-old was handed the gloves for the club’s final two Championship matches of the 2017-18 campaign, and will now seemingly battle Matt Ingram for the number one position next term.
The QPR fans have been reacting to the contract news on social media, and it would be fair to say that they are pleased with the update.
And many also urged their club to tie up a deal for Eberechi Eze, with the 20-year-old tipped to enjoy a big season next term.
