Things went from bad to worse for Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night when they suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Bristol City.

The R's have now lost all five of their Championship matches at the start of the 2018-19 campaign, with that rotten run of form leaving them rooted to the bottom of the table.

The pressure is firmly on head coach Steve McClaren, with a number of QPR fans already calling for the former England manager to be sacked.

The 57-year-old has only been in charge of QPR since May, but the signs do not exactly look great moving forward.

The QPR supporters have been discussing potential replacements for McClaren on social media, and Mick McCarthy seems to be a popular choice.

The 59-year-old is currently without a job having left Ipswich Town at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, and might well fancy taking on the challenge at Loftus Road.
