QPR plotting swoop to lure ex-Man United bad boy back to England

Queens Park Rangers are planning a January move to lure former West Ham and Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison back to England from Lazio in January, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.

The 22-year-old endured turbulent spells with the Manchester and London clubs before opting to pursue a move to Italy, but he is understood to have struggled to settle in Serie A.

Morrison has been training with Lazio since February, yet he’s only made two appearances for the Rome giants, which has reportedly piqued QPR’s interest.

The attacking midfielder enjoyed a loan spell at Loftus Road – in which he helped the club to promotion in 2014 – and the Londoners are hopeful of luring him back.

Morrison has frequently made headlines for his off-field actions, but he did impress under Sam Allardyce at West Ham at the start of the 2013/14 season.

The England U-21 international signed a pre-contract deal with Lazio seven months ago and impressed during the club’s pre-season plans.
