During the early stages of Queens Park Rangers' Championship campaign, there were fears that the club would have a relegation fight on their hands.

Steve McClaren's side lost their opening four matches, leaving them dwindling in the bottom half of the table.

Since then, though, the team have experienced a turnaround in form and are now in the hunt for promotion.

At the moment, the R's sit 10th in the standings, two points adrift of the playoff spots and seven behind current leaders Norwich City.

During the dismal spell, Matt Ingram was the man in between the sticks but the goalkeeper has since been replaced by Joe Lumley.

With QPR now in positive form, it looks as though there is no way back, at least this season for Ingram.

As a result, the 24-year-old joined Wycombe Wanderers on a seven-day emergency loan last Thursday.

In a recent interview with his loan club's official website, the goalkeeper suggested that he wants to extend his stay, and it seems that plenty of QPR fans feel the same.
