QPR host Bolton in a six-pointer relegation clash on Saturday, but the R’s will be without Angel Rangel and Geoff Cameron once again – both players are still recovering from long-term injuries but could be back in contention soon.
Steve McClaren, for one, cannot wait to see the pair back in competitive action as his side have severely missed their experience in recent weeks that have seen them plummet towards the bottom of the table.
The Hoops boss stressed the duo’s importance both on and off the field ahead of the clash with Bolton, saying that they have been “missed”:

Spaniard Rangel tore a tendon in the victory over Leeds in December and, having had surgery, is back out on the training pitch while Stoke City loanee Cameron suffered an ankle injury in the same game that has kept him out since – he is also back on the grass at the Imperial College Sports Ground now.

Both players are all too familiar with the trials and tribulations that come with a relegation battle and their experience in evading the drop will be crucial to the Loftus Road outfit if they are to dig their heels in and renew acquaintances in the Championship for next season.
