QPR are interested in signing Brighton and Hove Albion striker Tomer Hemed according to The Argus.

What's the story?

The 31-year-old has been at Brighton since 2015 and has gone on to make 98 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals.

The Israeli international, who is valued at £2.25million on Transfermarkt, scored 17 goals in a fine first season for the club in the Championship.

Now the striker is being linked with a move to Loftus Road as Steve McClaren looks to bolster his attacking options before the end of the transfer window.

Sign him up

It's clear to see that QPR need to improve on their goal return and Hemed would be the ideal man to lead the line for McClaren.

He showed in his two seasons in the Championship that he is perfect for this level, scoring 28 goals during his time in the division.

Hemed found life harder in the Premier League and as he's not a key player for Chris Hughton's side, he could be available for a relatively low fee.
