Jimmy Kebe will miss out once again when Reading take on Manchester City as the winger struggles with a thigh strain.
Kebe has been dogged by injuries all season and this latest problem has kept him out of the Royals side for the last eight games, much to the frustration of the Mali international.
There is a chance the 29-year-old could figure on the last day of the season against West Ham but the visit of City this evening comes too soon for him.
“Jimmy won’t be fit for Tuesday night,” Royals boss Nigel Adkins said “We’ve got one or two little niggles, which you always get, and several players that are going to be aware on international duty over the summer so that could be interesting in terms of getting their recovery process right.”
Midfielder Hope Akpan and goalkeeper Adam Federici are also likely to sit out the game through injury.
