Jem Karacan hopes Reading can end the season on a high by securing victory at West Ham on Sunday.
The Royals’ relegation has already been confirmed but Karacan feels it is still important that they put in a big performance at Upton Park.
Reading secured a 4-2 win at West Ham at the end of last season in the Championship, and midfielder Karacan is hoping or a repeat performance on Sunday.
“People will say it’s two teams with nothing to play for but we have pride,” Karacan told the Reading Chronicle. “We want to go there and put on a good performance.
“It’s a day out for the fans and we hope they enjoy the last game of the season. We won a massive game there last season so we want to go there and get a win to move into next season on a positive note.”
