According to a poll run by Football FanCast, a huge majority of Sheffield Wednesday fans want Tottenham loanee Josh Onomah to start in the Championship clash with Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
England U21 international Onomah made his first appearance for Jos Luhukay’s side on the weekend as he came off the bench while his new side were 2-1 down to Stoke, before Barry Bannan netted the equaliser with an perfectly placed free-kick.
Onomah, who spent last season on loan with Aston Villa in the same league, replaced Wednesday’s first goalscorer Marco Matias after 68 minutes of the draw with Stoke and looked strong and composed on the ball on the left-hand side of the midfield.
The 21-year-old is also comfortable on the right or in a more central role and 81 per cent of the Owls fans that answered our poll wanted him to start against Forest. Check out the full results below.
