Sheffield Wednesday fans are bashing Marco Matias, as they start to look ahead to the new Championship season.
As far as bad luck goes, Sheffield Wednesday had it just about as bad as it gets last season, as several key players missed time through injuries.
The electric Fernando Forestieri was undoubtedly the biggest miss for the Owls, but the continued injury troubles of Matias didn’t help either.
Scoring just 59 goals across 46 games was a massive reason for the Owls’ disappointing 15th place finish, and they desperately need more spark in attack.

Matias has shown glimpses of his talent, including that incredible goal against Leeds in 2015, but the problem is that the former Portugal youth star is almost never around to show more of it.
Since signing in 2015, the 29 year-old has played just 28 times in the league, and he made just 14 total appearances last season.
After a report in the Star called it a make or break season for the forward, fans are all agreeing it’s likely to be a lot more break than anything else, and some are even calling for him to be sold.

You mean break or break, so injury prone it’s untrue. Another magnificent piece of scouting my #swfc
