Loads of Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to the latest squad update, as it looks like Almen Abdi is going to miss even more time through injury.
According to The Sheffield Star, Abdi will miss the start of the Championship season as he continues to carry a knock.
The midfielder has reportedly been struggling with a hamstring problem for the last two weeks.
The 31 year-old has frustrated fans with his injury problems, and the news that he has got another one before the season has even started is not exactly going down well.
Abdi has played just 16 Championship games for the Owls since joining from Watford in 2016, and fans are completely fed up with him now.
The 5 ft 11 midfielder actually has six Switzerland caps, but his career has gone completely down hill since making the switch to Hillsborough.
The Owls have been unable to fund any transfers this summer, so Abdi being fit would have been a huge boost, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
