Sheffield Wednesday fans slate Atdhe Nuhiu for his performance against Nottingham Forest

Sheffield Wednesday fans on Twitter were fuming with striker Atdhe Nuhiu’s performance in the 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening.

Nuhiu thought he had put the Owls ahead in the first half, but his header was ruled out for offside. After that, goals from Forest new boys Lewis Grabban and Joao Carvalho put the home side into a comfortable lead.

With Nuhiu, who has been at the club since 2013, upfront on his own Wednesday lacked any attacking threat and barely created a chance until experienced striker Steven Fletcher was introduced to offer the 29-year-old some support.

Fletcher was then the one who pulled a goal back for Wednesday, albeit with the help of a huge deflection, but it was too late for any chance of a comeback. After the game, Owls fans took to Twitter to express their opinions on Nuhiu and his performance. Check out the best tweets below.
