Deadline day is always a hectic one for the clubs involved, and most fans are eagerly awaiting news of incomings.
Stoke City supporters are among those constantly checking their news feeds, but one transfer deal has not had the desired reaction.
On Twitter, the Championship club, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, confirmed that Geoff Cameron has joined Queens Park Rangers on loan.

The versatile player, who can be positioned at centre-back, midfield or at right-back, has not made a single appearance this season under manager Gary Rowett.
Judging by the reaction on Twitter, not many fans are pleased with this piece of business.
Some have suggested that Cameron is more worthy of a place in the squad than Darren Fletcher and Charlie Adam.
Others have been left confused by the decision to offload the USA international to a Championship rival – one who sits just two points adrift of the Potters in the table.
Why let him go, out of all our midfielders? Great servant to the club and has done more good for us than Fletcher/Adam have

Keeping Fletcher and getting rid of him is ridiculous. Far better midfielder than fletcher when fit.

Rather keep him than fletcher or Adam. Don’t understand this.

But fletcher and Adam stay… pic.twitter.com/VCci0U7PjT

Why have we done this??
— Ryan Taylor (@RyanTayylorr) August 31, 2018
Why let him join a rival? Baffling..

Gutted, can you not swap with Fletcher instead, all the best @GeoffCameron see you next season

Shame, should have been in the team over Fletch
