Tony Pulis says no offers have been made for Asmir Begovic and has warned rival clubs it would take big money to prise him away.
Begovic has been heavily linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, but despite all the speculation no club has made a firm offer for the Bosnian star.
Following Stoke’s capture of Jack Butland from Birmingham in the January window it was assumed that Begovic would leave the Britannia Stadium with Stoke happy to accept £15million.
However, Pulis says that Begovic is still in his plans and he has not put a valuation on the player’s head.
“The fact we’ve signed Jack doesn’t mean we’re going to sell Asmir,” Pulis revealed. “No one’s rung me up to ask about Asmir. I haven’t even thought about a price but they’d have to spend a hell of a lot to take him away.
“He’s played every league game and he’s been smashing. He’s a top goalkeeper.”
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all known to be on the look out for a new goalkeeper but it sounds as though Pulis is ready to fight to keep hold of the talented custodian.
