Stoke defender Andy Wilkinson says the whole squad is behind manager Tony Pulis and has backed him to get the club back on track.
Just one win in 11 matches has left the Potters looking anxiously over their shoulder at the drop zone. Some fans have even called for a change at the top.
Pulis may have lost some of the fans, but there are no such problems in the dressing room. Wilkinson claims the Welshman has the full support of the players.
The first aim is to get the six points to get them to the magical 40-point mark, but Wilkinson says there is no reason why Pulis cannot still guide them to a top-10 finish.
“It’s always frustrating not getting those wins, but hopefully we can get one soon enough and relieve the pressure,” he told Sky Sports News.
“You would have to ask the fans what they are thinking, but we’re all set.
“Our aim is to finish top 10, so the more results we can get the better. The gaffer and the chairman have done unbelievable keeping the club where we are in the Premiership and everyone’s fully behind them.”
