And West Ham striker Diafra Sakho’s impending move to the Hawthorns could see chairman Jeremy Peace finally surrender the 22-year-old, who he barred from signing for Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

But price-tag could remain an issue, with the Baggies seemingly demanding top dollar for the Burundi-born poacher despite his contract expiring at the end of the season.

According to Uttoxeter Advertiser, Stoke are hoping to bring down West Brom’s valuation of Berahino by including one of their fringe strikers as part of the deal.

The regional newspaper puts Joselu, Mame Diouf and Peter Crouch in the frame for a part exchange after scoring just nine Premier League goals combined last season.
