The Bosnian stopper has been heavily linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent months, after an impressive Premier League campaign with the Potters.
With Tony Pulis having been axed and the club failing to show adequate signs of progression, it has been rumoured that the 25-year-old may consider his options during the coming transfer window.
However, Begovic says that he is perfectly happy with Stoke and is not looking to move on.
“I am happy to be here and I am happy to stay here. I am looking forward to reporting back in pre-season, meeting the new manager and staff and cracking on with the new season,” he told the Stoke Sentinel.
“The most important thing is I am at a club where I am settled and I feel comfortable. Everyone has been really good to me and the chairman has been fantastic so I can’t really complain.
“I am going to have to work hard to keep my place and I am looking forward to that.”
Begovic was voted as Stoke’s player-of-the-season recently, and is widely regarded as one of the club’s key men.
New manager Mark Hughes is said to be keen to keep him beyond this summer, despite a deal for England international Jack Butland having already been agreed.
Should Asmir Begovic be looking to move to a bigger club? Or can he achieve his goals at Stoke?
