Stoke to complete transfer deal this week for African ace craving summer move

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Ramadan Sobhi will arrive in England this week to complete a £2.5million transfer to Stoke City.

The promising forward is just 19 years of age but has already made 63 league appearances for current employers Al Ahly, scoring 14 goals and helping them claim two Premier League title.

He’s also picked up six caps for Egypt and has even come under criticism for showboating in recent domestic features according to The Sun.

Stoke City were linked with the teenage attacker last week and The Daily Mail claim he’s now set for a Potters switch, after telling manager Martin Jol that he wants a move abroad.

Work permit issues are slowing down the deal, which is expected to be worth just £2.5million, but Mark Hughes’ side are confident they can get it over the line this week.

It’s possible Sobhi will spend next season out on loan to gain more experience in European football.
