Sunderland spurned a golden opportunity in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Reading, and fans are absolutely furious with goalkeeper Lee Camp.

Sunderland looked to be heading towards a vital three points at Reading on Saturday when unlikely goalscorer Lee Cattermole put the Black Cats in front, but Yann Kermorgant’s late header may have quashed any hope of a great escape.

Chris Coleman’s side fell behind when Liam Kelly buried a penalty for the hosts, but Paddy McNair’s fantastic strike levelled the scores.

Cattermole’s glancing header looked to be the winner, but it is now three matches running that the Black Cats have surrendered a lead to come away with a draw.

Fans are of course fed up with the team's inability to keep a lead, but most of their anger is being directed at goalkeeper Lee Camp.

The ex-Derby man seemed to just watch the ball fly into the net when Kermorgant met Chris Gunter’s cross, and it’s not the first time he has infuriated fans.

Camp’s poor positioning and inability to deal with crosses has cost Coleman’s side dearly in the second half of the season, and fans have been venting their frustrations on Twitter.
