Swansea City are yet to reach an agreement with the wantaway Michu, according to the Mail.
The Spaniard signed from Rayo Vallecano for £2m in July 2012 and had a sensational first season at the club when he scored 22 goals.
But Michu has since disappointed for Swansea and has lost his place in the hierarchy at the Liberty Stadium, being shipped out on loan to Napoli in Serie A where he made just three league appearances for the club who were, at the time, managed by Rafael Benitez.
Michu is still a Swansea player with a year left on his contract, and the both the club and the player are yet to reach an agreement on what happens next.
Manager Garry Monk is adamant that the Spain international will leave South Wales, with former club Vallecano and fellow Spanish side Granada interested in pulling the player out of his misery, but Michu’s wages are thought to be the problem facing any deal.
