Yesterday, we asked Swansea fans whether Nathan Dyer has a future at Swansea City, after the 31-year-old impressed against Brentford on the weekend and told BBC Sport that the experienced players in Graham Potter's squad still had a role to play in their Championship campaign.

Now we want to know whether Wayne Routledge, who is in a similar position to Dyer, should also have a future under Potter beyond the January transfer window.

Before the game against Brentford, the Swansea boss had claimed that both Dyer and Routledge were free to leave the club in the winter window, as both players are among the highest earners and Potter was looking to put his faith in the young players in his ranks.

However, Routledge was also awarded a rare start and opened the scoring against the Bees after just 25 seconds on Saturday, and his inventive rabona cross then led to Leroy Fer's goal.

The 33-year-old's contract is up at the end of the season but it would surely be worth giving him a one-year extension to use his experience to help bring through the younger players in the squad.

So, Swansea fans, would you like to see Routledge stay at the club beyond January? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
