Jonathan De Guzman says he is unsure what the future holds as Swansea push for a permanent deal in the summer.
The midfielder has been a revelation after joining on a season-long loan from Spanish outfit Villarreal and Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is keen to keep him permanently.
It is thought that De Guzman would also like to stay and while Villarreal appear happy to sell, there is sure to be interest from other clubs throughout Europe and the player will have plenty of options.
Reports claim Villarreal could sell for as little as £5million and such a figure will attract plenty of interest.
When quizzed about whether he would be staying at the Liberty Stadium long term, he revealed: “It’s a big question and I can’t really give you a straight answer. I don’t know either.”
De Guzman is staying focused on the remainder of the season with the Swans and will wait for a decision to be made in the summer.
