Michel Vorm passed fit for Swansea

Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm did not pick up a serious injury against Wigan on Tuesday, according to manager Michael Laudrup.

The Swansea shot stopper was taken off in the second half of the 3-2 victory over the Latics following a nasty coming together with team-mate Ben Davies.

Vorm was unable to continue following the collision and had to be taken off on a stretcher, wearing a neck brace, causing some concern amongst Swans supporters.

However, Laudrup has now come out to calm fears regarding Vorm’s injury, claiming they will check on him on Wednesday but that he showed no ill effects from the clash with Davies after the game.

“He seems okay. He was a little dizzy,” said Laudrup. “We have to see what the reaction is tomorrow.
“He can talk, he knows what happens so again we have to wait and see.”
