Michu says he has no intention of leaving Swansea and he will definitely be at the club next season to lead them in the Europa League.
The Spanish ace has been a revelation having scored 22 goals in his debut season in the Premier League and it comes as no surprise to see him linked with a move away.
Boss Michael Laudrup has already slapped a £30million price tag on his head in an effort to frighten off interested clubs, but Michu says there is no need to worry as he is staying put.
“I’ve seen articles on the internet, but I’m very happy here,” he declared. “I only think about playing next Sunday against Fulham. I’m happy on the pitch and in this team.
“Swansea fans do not need to worry. I’m very interested (in having the chance) to play in Europe. I am very happy at the club and I want to say thank you to everyone at the club because we have all enjoyed this season.”
