The majority of Swansea fans that responded to our poll would support boss Graham Potter if he attempted to broker a deal for free-agent and 34-year-old Robert Huth.

Potter’s current first choice centre-back pairing is Mike van der Hoorn and 20-year-old Joe Rodon, with 19-year-old Brandon Cooper and 21-year-old Cian Harries being utilised in the Carabao Cup when the main men were rested.

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers then made his first appearance as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest after joining the club later in the transfer window this summer, but Potter could still look to bring in a more experienced defender as cover.
