According to our recent poll, the majority of Swansea fans would prefer manager Graham Potter to keep youngster Daniel James in the starting XI for the trip to Aston Villa, rather than bringing in Barrie McKay.

The Swans are currently sitting in 11th place in the Championship table after their relegation from the Premier League in the last season, but Potter needs to get his attacking players firing quickly as they have so far netted just 12 goals in their opening 12 league games.

23-year-old McKay only signed for the Swans in the summer from Nottingham Forest, but the left-winger is yet to score in nine Championship appearances for his new club.

Villa's defence has been far from effective so far this season, but the Birmingham-based club will be hoping for the new manager bounce as former Brentford boss Dean Smith takes over for his first game in charge.

68 per cent of the Swansea fans that answered our poll though didn't want McKay to start on Saturday. Check out the full results below.
