The majority of the Swansea fans that answered our recent poll think that striker Oliver McBurnie is now worth between £5m-£10m after his blistering start to the season.
The 22-year-old striker netted the opening goal of the game against Rotherham in the Championship on Saturday, but Graham Potter’s side threw away their lead late on and ended up losing the game 2-1.
McBurnie though now has seven goals and two assists in his first 16 league matches this season, and is one of the main reasons that the Swans are sitting as high as ninth in the table despite a difficult start to the campaign.
The 22-year-old is a full Scotland international with six caps and signed for the Welsh club from Bradford in the summer of 2015. According to Transfermarkt, the fee paid was just £350,000, making McBurnie an absolute bargain.
