Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup still wants to add another striker to his squad before the start of the season.
The Swans have just forked out a club record £13million on Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony but Laudrup wants competition for places as the South Wales club look to attack the Europa League.
Bony has not had a full pre season due to difficulties with a work permit and so Laudrup wants to add another striker before the start of the season.
City have been linked with a move for out of favour Aston Villa forward Darren Bent in recent days but Luadrup remains tight lipped on his targets, despite admitted he needs a striker.
“I think we still need another striker, another kind of striker, but apart from that I really don’t know,” Laudrup told Sky Sports.
“If nothing more happens, and by happens I mean if none of the regulars leave the squad, then I think maybe only one player would be enough.
“We still have 30-something days.”
