The Dane, who lifted the Capital One Cup earlier this year, is believed to be planning his off-season transfer activity already, in the knowledge that his squad may not have the depth to compete both domestically and in the Europa League next term.
He has highlighted Getafe midfield pair Michel and Mehdi Lacen as two players who could both bulk out and improve his options.
Michel has already spent one spell in England with Birmingham, making only a handful of appearances during the 2010/11 season.
But, the 27-year-old has impressed in his homeland, tempting Laudrup to offer him a second chance at life in the Premier League.
Lacen is also on the Swans’ radar, after turning in a number of high quality performances in his favoured defensive midfield position.
Swansea will have to fight off competition from major European clubs, but the Algerian could be tempted by life at the Liberty Stadium.
Laudrup’s previous raids on La Liga have been successful, with Michu, Pablo Hernandez and Jonathan De Guzman all slotting seamlessly into the club’s first-team.
The Swans coach is believed to have solid connections with Madrid-based club, having managed them during 2007/08.
