Swansea held a mid-table finish last season after things stopped working with Garry Monk mid-way through the campaign.
Their 4-1 demolition of West Ham towards the end of the campaign proved they can be a deadly outfit on their day, but their inconsistency throughout the rest of the campaign meant they had to settle for a 12th place finish.
The early games are crucial for a side looking to build consistency and Swansea have one eye on their opening four fixtures of the season to see how they can begin their season positively.
With their new financial backing, Swansea will be hoping to put a poor 15/16 campaign behind them and return to challenging in the top ten.
