Swansea City striker Oliver McBurnie continued his rich vein of goalscoring form against West Brom on Wednesday night, but his early strike couldn’t save the Swans from defeat.
After the game, McBurnie sent a simple tweet of an angered face emoji to display his disappointment at the result, but many Swansea fans jumped to offer their support to the Scotsman.

McBurnie opened the scoring at the Liberty Stadium after just 10 minutes as he turned in a rebound, only for goals from West Brom centre-backs Craig Dawson and Ahmed Hegazi to give the away side all three points.
The 22-year-old Swansea striker has now scored eight goals in the league so far this season and is surely in the form of his life, so it was clear to see why so many fans offered their consolation rather than worrying about the result.
Check out some of the best reaction to McBurnie’s tweet below.
Chin up McBurnie!!! You are doing great this season and nobody can criticise you while you still scoring and proving people wrong. Just remember that. just keep improving and listen to Potter on what he’s telling you.
