Swansea striker Michu could make a sensational return to the Liberty Stadium this January after flopping on his loan spell with Napoli, according to Wales Online.
The Spanish striker became a Premier League sensation when he arrived as an unknown in a £2million deal from Rayo Vallecano in 2012.
But after a number of injuries, Michu struggled to rediscover the form that once had him linked with a £25million move to Arsenal, and was eventually shipped out on loan to Napoli in the summer.
But the Spaniard has managed just five appearances for Rafa Benitez’s side since then, and is yet to complete 90 minutes, let alone find the net.
And Swans boss Garry Monk believes he could make use of Michu in a front three involving Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wilfried Bony.
