Michel Vorm has dismissed suggestions he was holding talks with Barcelona at the weekend and says there has been no contact.
Vorm was spotted in Barcelona at the weekend and that kicked off speculation in the Spanish press that he was there to discuss a possible summer move to the Nou Camp.
Swansea officials moved quickly to dismiss the rumours and now the Dutchman has also confirmed he was taking a break with his family and insists transfer talks did not take place.
“So no, I was not in Barcelona to sign a deal,” Vorm told Voetbal International. “No one of that club contacted my agent Wessel Weezenberg.”
Vorm expects Barcelona to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer if Victor Valdes does move on, but refused to be drawn on whether it would be him or not.
“However I expect something will happen there for the goalkeeping position,” added Vorm. “If Valdes will leave, Barcelona have to adapt.”
