After drawing against Bournemouth in their last Premier League fixture, Arsenal travel to Swansea on Saturday clinging on to title ambitions by their fingernails.
The Gunners are now out of the top four and eight points behind Chelsea at the top of the table. When you consider that Arsenal have dropped those eight points over their last five games, you can understand their supporters’ frustrations.
There’s no more room for error and the Gunners must play to their best if they are to beat the Swans.
For the Welsh side, the Arsenal game is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start life under new manager Paul Clement, after the sacking of Bob Bradley. Clement lost his first game in charge, a 2-0 defeat away to Hull in the FA Cup, but that competition is not the priority. It’s all about Premier League survival.
