After drawing against Bournemouth in their last Premier League fixture, Arsenal travel to Swansea on Saturday clinging on to title ambitions by their fingernails.

The Gunners are now out of the top four and eight points behind Chelsea at the top of the table. When you consider that Arsenal have dropped those eight points over their last five games, you can understand their supporters' frustrations.

There's no more room for error and the Gunners must play to their best if they are to beat the Swans.

For the Welsh side, the Arsenal game is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start life under new manager Paul Clement, after the sacking of Bob Bradley. Clement lost his first game in charge, a 2-0 defeat away to Hull in the FA Cup, but that competition is not the priority. It's all about Premier League survival.

They have every chance of staying up, just one point behind 17th place right now. Can they give those ambitions a massive boost with a result against Arsenal?

Here are THREE reasons why Swansea could surprise the Gunners on Saturday...

New boss bounce

Clement may have lost his first game in charge of the Swans but his first Premier League match and his first match as boss at the Liberty Stadium should create a feel-food factor that could produce an excellent performance.

Clement is a talented coach and has been assistant manager at some of the world's biggest clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. He also made Derby County a pretty tough team to beat in the Championship when he was boss for a short time there.

If Swansea can capitalise on the home fans' positivity and hope, they have every chance of upsetting Arsenal.

The Swansea late show

In the last five games that Swansea have scored in, they've managed to notch a goal in the last 15 minutes. They keep fighting until the bitter end and it has been paying dividends in recent weeks.

Some of those goals have been absolutely vital in securing points. Angel Rangel's 88th minute strike gave them victory recently away to Crystal Palace, while Fernando Llorente also sunk the Eagles late on with an incredible stoppage time double to gift them all three points at home in a 5-4 November win.

That's something Arsenal will need to be wary of, especially since they've conceded some late goals themselves recently, most notably in a 2-1 loss away to Everton.

Shaky Arsenal

Arsenal have won just seven points from the last 15 available and their Premier League season is in danger of sinking beyond trace with the likes of Spurs, Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool in great form around them.

Bournemouth's incredible three-goal lead in the last round of fixtures showed that when the Gunners can be got at, they are liable to suffer collapse. Still, managing to come back and draw that game 3-3 did show incredible team spirit.

They dominated the FA Cup game against Preston North End but even the Championship side showed that Wenger's men are shaky in defence.

Swansea drove them close at the Emirates early in the season, scoring two goals. If they can exploit Arsenal's weakness at the back again, who knows what can happen on Saturday?
