HYS: Should Jonathan Leko start for West Brom in the Carabao Cup?

West Brom beat Millwall 2-0 on the weekend to propel themselves to third in the Championship table as they hunt for promotion back to the Premier League.

However, Darren Moore’s side are in Carabao Cup action this week as they face Crystal Palace in the third round of the competition, and it could give the Baggies boss Darren Moore a chance to rotate his squad and give some game time to those who have struggled to get a start so far this season.

Youngster Jonathon Leko is one of those who could be in contention for the tie at the Hawthorns after having not made an appearance in the Championship yet this season. The 19-year-old did however start the last Carabao Cup game and scored as the Baggies beat Mansfield Town 2-1.

Leko is an England U19 international and made his debut for the club in September 2015 after coming through the youth system. He could either play upfront or out wide for Moore and the manager should offer him a start to test what will likely be a much changed Palace defence.

So, West Brom fans, should Leko get a start against Crystal Palace? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
