HYS: Should Rodriguez be dropped for West Bromwich Albion’s match against Swansea City?

West Bromwich Albion will be hunting for a third consecutive win for the first time in the Championship this season when they take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night.

Darren Moore’s side head into the away contest on the back of wins over Leeds United and Ipswich Town.

The Baggies’ promotion hopes remain intact as they currently sit fourth in the league table, five points adrift of current leaders Norwich City after 18 games.

For the majority of the season, the attacking trio of Dwight Gayle, Harvey Barnes and Jay Rodriguez have stolen the show, but the latter has been lacklustre of late.

Rodriguez managed to get on the scoresheet against Ipswich, but other than that, he has failed to make a significant impact in recent matches.

With that in mind, ahead of the trip to Swansea, would it be better for Moore to drop Rodriguez to the bench and play Gayle alongside Hal Robson-Kanu instead, or should the former Southampton forward stay put?
