West Brom recently announced the signing of Wes Hoolahan on a free transfer after the 36-year-old left Norwich in the summer, having spent 10 years with the Canaries.
The Irishman made 351 appearances for Norwich during that time, scoring 51 goals and providing 78 assists. He also has 43 caps and three goals for his country, meaning he is not short of experience at both club and international level.
The now 36-year-old can play in central midfield or wide on the left but his favoured position is in an attacking midfield role, where loanee Harvey Barnes has currently been excelling for Darren Moore’s side.
However, Moore will be cautious of overworking Barnes and with the game against Bristol City being the second of three fixtures within the space of just over a week, this could be the perfect time to rest the Leicester youngster.
So, West Brom fans, should Moore hand Hoolahan a start for Tuesday’s clash at the Hawthorns? Have your say by voting in our poll below.
