West Bromwich Albion were immediately under pressure to earn promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The Baggies had a dismal season 2017-18 campaign after suffering relegation, but Darren Moore seems to be turning this around.

As it stands, the club sit second in the Championship table, one point adrift of Sheffield United after recording seven wins, three draws and two defeats.

In an attacking sense, the Baggies have been impressive, but defensively they could do with improving.

With the January transfer window only three months away, it seems that one of Moore's targets is to bolster the attack rather than defence.

According to The Sun on Sunday (October 7, page 60), West Brom are planning to table a club-record £20m bid for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack.

The newspaper states that the Baggies failed with a £15m off in the summer, but their interest remains.

Since moving to Ewood Park from Gillingham last year the 24-year-old has scored 25 goals for Rovers, seven of which have been netted in the current campaign.

Is Dack the right player for West Brom to be targeting in January?
