West Brom are enjoying a tremendous season in the Championship under Darren Moore following their relegation from the Premier League last season. They are just five points off the league leaders Leeds, and could mount a serious push for promotion in the second half of the season if they bring in some added firepower this month.

The Baggies have done alright for goalscorers so far in this campaign. Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez are both on 13 league goals for the season, whilst Leicester loanee Harvey Barnes has found the back of the net on nine occasions.

However, all three of them are regular starters for the Midlands side, so perhaps a new face who can come off the bench in games that aren't going their way should be on their January wishlist.

Alexander Sorloth v West Brom

One man who is seemingly available for transfer is Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth, who hasn't made a single Premier League start for the Eagles this season. The 23-year-old has scored just one goal since signing for the club last January, and looks surplus to requirements.
