HYS: Should West Bromwich Albion drop Brunt for Derby clash?

Chris Brunt has been a loyal servant to West Bromwich Albion since joining the club over a decade ago, but some fans have grown frustrated with his recent performances.

Overall, the Baggies have done well this season as they currently sit third in the Championship table, one point adrift of leaders Middlesbrough.

However, at the weekend they squandered the chance to go back to the top of the standings as they lost 1-0 to Wigan Athletic.

Brunt has featured in all 13 of West Brom’s league matches, starting 10 and coming on as a substitute in two.

The left-sided midfielder played the full 90 minutes of the team’s defeat at the weekend, but he struggled to make an impact.

After losing at the weekend, picking up points against Derby is that much more important for the Baggies, and head coach Darren Moore will have to do some shuffling due to Jake Livermore’s suspension.

With that in mind, should Brunt be left out of the lineup?
