HYS: Who should start in central midfield for West Brom with Jake Livermore suspended?

West Brom boss Darren Moore has some reshuffling to do for the visit of Derby County on Wednesday after Jake Livermore was sent off in the 1-0 loss to Wigan on Saturday.

The two yellow cards handed to the 28-year-old mean he will miss the game against Derby through suspension, making it the first time Moore will be without his key central-midfielder in a Championship tie.

The Baggies were unbeaten in seven league games before the disappointing trip to Wigan on Saturday, and Moore will now have to decide which two midfielders get the nod in Livermore’s absence.

So far this season, 37-year-old Gareth Barry and 33-year-old former winger Chris Brunt have rotated alongside Livermore, but there is little chance that both will play together given their lack of ability to cover enough ground against a Derby side that mixes experience and young talent. For this reason, Moore should surely gamble and hand 20-year-old Sam Field and exciting 18-year-old Rekeem Harper their first league starts of the season in the middle of the park.

So, West Brom fans, what pair do you think should start in central midfield in Livermore’s absence? Have your say by up-voting the two players you would like to start in the poll below.
