Lovre Kalinic is currently plying his trade in Ligue 1 under the banner of the French outfit Toulouse, following their loan deal with Aston Villa during the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old Croatian international has already managed to tally four appearances for his new club, conceding four goals but also keeping two clean sheets in the process as well.

And just recently, he replied to Filip Krovinovic's victory post alongside Matheus Pereira after West Brom recorded a 2-1 win over Reading to move six points clear at the top of the Championship.

Both Pereira and Kalinic posted comments as the Baggies celebrated a vital victory.

The Villa outcast and Krovinovic know each other from their time with the Croatian national team and it seems they remain good friends despite playing in different leagues and countries altogether.

Kalinic just left a short reply in Croatian, congratulating his compatriot on another great victory and calling him "dear" with a supporting emoji on the side.

Pereira was also on the scene and left a comment calling Krovinovic his brother.

As for the goalie himself, he left Villa Park after making just eight appearances for their senior team.
