West Brom boss Darren Moore should look to sign Arsenal youngster Eddie Nketiah on loan in January to bolster his attacking options.

What's the situation?

The Baggies have had a strong start to the season after Moore was given the managerial job on a permanent basis in the summer and allowed to build a team that could challenge for promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The West Midlands side currently sit in fifth place in the Championship table having won eight, drawn four and lost five of their first 17 matches.

However, Moore's side are by far the highest scorers in the league with an incredible 37 goals bagged so far in this campaign. This is largely down to the hugely impressive front three which includes Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle up top, with youngster Harvey Barnes just in behind them.

However, when Gayle was out injured recently it visibly upset the balance of the Baggies team and Moore could only call upon Hal Robson-Kanu as a replacement, so this position may be somewhere he looks to strengthen in January.

The Playmaker FC squad decided to wind-up some unsuspecting Brazil fans at the Emirates on Saturday night. Watch the hilarious results in the video below...

The loan market

The Baggies boss then should look to Arsenal and their huge young talent Eddie Nketiah, who could benefit from a half-season loan to the Championship.

The 19-year-old has made ten appearances for the Arsenal first-team since making his debut as a late substitute in a Europa League clash with BATE Borisov in September 2017. During that time, he has netted two goals, with both coming in a League Cup tie with Norwich.

Nketiah also has three goals in three appearances for the England U20 side though and two in four for Aidy Boothroyd's U21s, proving that he is a natural finisher and could be perfect for West Brom.

Moore then must test the Gunners and see if they are willing to loan out one of their brightest academy talents who would surely help the Baggies achieve that promotion straight back up to the top flight.

So, West Brom fans, would you like to see Moore target Nketiah in January or would you be against another loan deal? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
