West Brom boss Darren Moore should make a January move for Liverpool youngster Pedro Chirivella to bring some younger legs into his midfield at the Hawthorns.

What's the situation?

The Baggies are sitting in second in the Championship heading into the international break and have been in fantastic form recently, winning four of their last five league matches.

Strikers Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle, as well as attacking midfielder Harvey Barnes have been on absolute fire, and Moore's side have now scored an incredible 31 goals in just 12 games - nine more than the next top scorers in the division Middlesbrough.

However, defensively the Baggies have been slightly suspect at times and this could be down to the lack of mobility in central midfield, as Jake Livermore has been partnered with 37-year-old Gareth Barry or 33-year-old Chris Brunt.

To combat this, the West Midlands side should make a move for Liverpool's Chirivella in January. The 21-year-old is a more defensive midfielder who made 35 appearances and provided four assists whilst on loan at Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II last season.

However, he is clearly too far from the Liverpool first team this season and has been playing for the U23s after rejecting a move to Rosenborg in the summer. Instead, the Spaniard has said he would rather stay in England - meaning a similar £3.5m move could be a bargain for the Baggies.

Moore has been reluctant to use 20-year-old Sam Field so far this season, and the youngster has made just two late substitute appearances in the league. Chirivella though has top-flight experience in a European league and could certainly do a good job in replacing Barry in central-midfield.

So, West Brom fans, would you be keen on a move for the Liverpool youngster or should Moore stay away? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
