West Brom boss Darren Moore should look to sign Leicester's title winning full-back Christian Fuchs in January, as he could be available on a cut-price deal before his contract ends in the summer of 2019.

What's the situation?

The Baggies are currently ninth in the Championship table having picked up their form in recent games following a stuttering start to the new campaign after their relegation from the Premier League last season.

The West Midlands side are having no trouble finding the back of the net, with a league high 15 goals scored so far in just six games. However, Moore's side have also conceded nine goals and have recently switched to a 3-4-1-2 formation, meaning that Kieran Gibbs has been pushed to left-wing back, a position where Fuchs could still excel.

Moore, who was only made manager on a permanent basis this summer, did sign Conor Townsend from Scunthorpe during the transfer window but he should not miss an opportunity to sign Fuchs if it arises in January.

Plenty to offer

Fuchs joined Leicester on a free transfer in the summer of 2015 and was a fixture in the side that made history by winning the Premier League title in incredible circumstances during the 2015/16 season.

The former Mainz and Schalke man has now made 112 appearances for the Foxes, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists from left-back as he loves to get forward.

An Austrian international with 78 caps, the 32-year-old still has plenty to offer but has been pushed down the pecking order at the King Power by Ben Chilwell. For this reason, Moore must make a move to sign him in January to provide real competition for Gibbs' starting spot.
