Revealed: Majority of West Bromwich Albion fans convinced Gayle will stay

West Bromwich Albion are on course to achieve their objective of returning to the Premier League, but they have many big tests to overcome.

Darren Moore is the man under pressure to guide the Baggies’ to promotion, and at the moment they sit fifth in the Championship table, five points adrift of top spot.

This weekend they will take on Ipswich Town with the hope of claiming back-to-back wins following their 4-1 triumph over Leeds United before the international break.

A major factor in the Baggies’ promotion charge is the attacking threat of Dwight Gayle, Jay Rodriguez and Harvey Barnes.

Gayle joined the club from Newcastle United in the summer on a season-long loan deal, but as far as we know, an option to buy was not included.

The striker has impressed by scoring nine goals and creating one assist in 14 Championship outings, but his long-term future is unclear.

We asked you if West Brom will be able to convince Gayle to move to The Hawthorns on a permanent basis, and it seems that most of the supporters are very confident.
