The West Brom fans that answered our recent poll were split on whether a January loan move for young central midfielder Curtis Jones would benefit the club.

The Baggies have been impressive so far this season and sit fifth in the Championship table after their 4-1 thrashing of Leeds before the international break. However, boss Darren Moore has yet to find a suitable partner for Jake Livermore in central midfield.

Chris Brunt, Gareth Barry and James Morrison have all been given game time in that role, but all are well into their 30s and struggle to keep up with the pace of the frantic Championship, whilst 20-year-old academy graduate Sam Field is yet to be trusted in league games.

Perhaps though West Brom fans are keen to see their own youngsters such as Field get more game time rather than bringing in those from Premier League clubs on temporary deals.

Just 51 per cent of the Baggies fans that answered our poll wanted Moore to move for Jones in January, despite the 17-year-old's hugely impressive performances on Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the United States in the summer.
